Join three local nature writers — Noreen Masud, Michael Malay and Nick Hunt — for a conversation about finding inspiration in Bristol's natural spaces, and the art of nature writing.

Noreen Masud is a lecturer in Twentieth Century Literature at the University of Bristol, and an AHRC/BBC New Generation Thinker. Her book 'A Flat Place' is a memoir rooted in Britain's landscapes that simultaneously deals with the currency of trauma, racism and exile.
Michael Malay is a lecturer in English Literature and Environmental Humanities at the University of Bristol. His debut book 'Late Light' is about falling in love with vanishing things, and explores themes of discovery and extinction through the stories of four "uncharismatic creatures".
Nick Hunt is a travel writer and novelist based in Bristol. His published works include 'Outlandish', 'Where the wild winds are', and 'Walking the woods and the water'. His nature writing follows his walking journeys throughout Europe. and delves into the topic of climate change.
